A Neurilemmoma of the Tongue

Abstract
|
|
|
Recently, author has experienced a rare entity of neurilemmoma of the tongue.
Neurilemmoma is a relatively rare disease and about 25% of it occurs on the head and neck portion and very rarely on the tongue.
The patient was a 28 year-old male who had noticed gradual swelling on the left side .of tongue with complaints of dysphagia, anorexia, for about 3 ´years of duration.
The tumor. was successfully removed the local anesthesia and was. verified, histologically as a neurilemmoma of the tongue.
